I used one of the pre-made rubber necklace yesterday with a R109 and it kept falling out of the loop (twice on shore and once underwater). I never had any problems with a bungee necklace using the same regulator, I think I will stick with a bungee cord necklace. Anybody else have problems with the rubber necklace?

I wouldn't use one. I see the whole purpose behind the bungee is that it is secure and will always be right where you expect it to be. I have seen regs come out of the rubber holders on numerous occasions. I have a buddy who swears by them. So when I saw his pop out I threw an OOG to show him what had happened :) He went back to bungee.

I think it really depends on the regulator you have. I have friends who are using the Manta necklaces without any problems, but they wouldn't stay on my S600s. You can cinch the opening up by using a ziptie on it, but I just went back to my shock cord.

I used a Manta up until a few weeks ago. My Mares regs stayed in place just fine. I went to a 'cinching' bungee necklace because A) it's more comfortable and holds the reg up higher and B) I didn't want to zip tie the bungee directly to my mouthpiece.
