Which reg would you recommend for cold water and is there any advantage between these two regs.

Hi Squidster-
Thanks for the inquiry. All of our regs are rated to 40 degrees F out of the box for cold water diving. Both the R-200 and R-300 first stages are balanced diaphragm and similar in port configurations. The R-300 first stage will offer better performance than the R-200 in WOB and inhalation effort.
