i went to folly cove today, just to check the place out out of boredom because i had nothing better to do.

the tide was wicked high, i had never seen it this high before. the waves were monsterous and there was prob only 20 ft of shore lines.

The vis would have been bad for sure. Spring Tides (full moon) can be funky. The last time I dove Folly was the lowest water level I have ever seen. We walked to the buoys in the middle of the cove before we put our fins on.
