That's so nice of you. Most people just want to run....
 
Ab unfinished root canal, or one in treatment and not filled with the Gutta Perch will have an airspace. Won't be a problem diving because the air will be compressed. Will matter if you fly in an unpressurized airplane Gas expands and will feel like a toothache. Finalize dental work before diving. Cheers
 
I have had a gazillion root canals and have a (gazillion - 3) implants. No issues. None.
