I know, I know, this has probably been asked before but I am looking for facts not personal opinions. Looking for "MY" ideal place. I know there are plenty of operators/resorts in Roatan but I hope to narrow it down with this criteria...

1. Full service resort/lodging (lodging, dive shop, restaurant, bar, etc.)
2. Literally in the nightlife area.

I am going for my Rescue Certification and a few beers. I have read all about the opinions on which place is better, nicer, cleaner, more friendly, blah, blah, blah. I really just want to know where I can stay that has their own dive shop and is only a few seconds walk to the parties.

Sorry for the bluntness and thanks in advance for the help.

Hey...I am all for bluntness....most if not all the night life is in West End...not sure if there are any all inclusives in that area...but it is a small area and the hotels eating places and dive shops are all close together....I have heard great review of Luna Beach Resort Scuba Diving: Luna Beach Resort, Roatan Caribbean Paradise Accommodations scuba diving vacations Ð luxury beach resort Ð Roatan, Honduras they have the amenities you have requested and is just a short walk to West End.. have fun

There are no AI's right in West End. You might be able to cut a deal with Pura Vida for a room with American plan meals & and diving as the hotel has a restaurant and dive shop & it is right where the night life is, but West End is a la carte for the most part.

Actually, yoiu rally don't want dinner prepaid if you are a night person. Folks tend to meet in the bars and go out for dinner together later than an AI would be serving.

Luna Beach is about a 10 minute walk from the edge of the night life and another 10 minutes to the center.

All the dive shops in West End can help you book accommodation. Coconut Tree has cabins, restaurant and dive shop all in the very center of West End offering various packages that include your diving and accommodation.
