UnderwaterBumbleBee,

Thank you for your input. Your note and several others have made a difference and we have booked our vacation at Anthony's.

Can't wait. By-the-way, What were your favorites dives while there?

Greg

Glad it helped. The more I look at my photos and remember the trip, I know we'll head back there again soon. As for the dive sites, I really loved the Aguilar wreck (the Odyssey was good too but I saw more at the Aguilar). I loved the pale purple parrotfish that hang out at the stern of the wreck, there's also an eel garden in the same area.

We did the shark dive and it was awesome. I highly recommend it and would have done it twice if it hadn't coincided with us diving the Odyssey wreck. Mary's Place was really good. We did Spooky Channel which looks exactly how it sounds, kind of greenish water with low viz but not a lot of life at all. Some of the sites had incredible pillar coral and lots of little baby fish. Saw a couple really good size green moray eels, one turtle, a large nurse shark swimming, two huge puffer fish... Seemed like the better diving was closer to Mary's Place which is a little farther boat ride and the water could be a little more choppy on that side of the island. We didn't mind but one girl lost her breakfast. I have lots of photos on my link below if you haven't already checked them out. The bugs were not as bad as I thought they would be but definitly re-apply bug spray. They have a little snack place/shop next to the dive shop and you can buy cactus juice if you run out or don't have any. Did I also mention that they have a shore dive/snorkeling area off the Key island and they have free kayaks and a canoe you can take at any time on the island. They have a evening BBQ on the island with fire dancers, native dancers and a crab race. They also have a daytime BBQ on their other island that you take the boat to (Fins & Flippers). Hopefully you booked a Key Superior room, we stayed in room 37 and I loved the private covered patio with the hammocks! They also have really good frozen mudslides and banana dianas at the pool bar!
