Roatan snorkeling

We'll be in Roatan for part of a day on a cruise and the family all enjoys snorkeling. We heard that Bay Islands Beach Resort has good snorkeling from the beach and boat trips. Any suggestions? Anyone been snorkeling in Roatan?

Some great snorkelling off west Bay Beach.

went for a couple of weeks in May this year and saw loads - turtles, eagle rays, sting rays, eels, lobsters etc

Early morning was best - head out towards the White buoys at the western end of the beach.

If you haven't got your own gear, Bananarama along the beach front rent out fins and masks etc.
