If you are staying in Cocoview or one of the other south side resorts then November is you best bet for calm seas on that side, but expect rain. May is good for calm seas on then north shore and generally very nice weather, vis and its not too crowded. It can be quite rough on the south side may to september when the trades get up, november to Feb is when you expect it to be rough on the north side.

Hawk,

Looks like we're going to be at CCV during the same timeframe. I'll be there Dec 1-8. Envious of your three weeks. Would like to connect up for a few dives. I have a small group of two others along - both good divers. We are trying to organize a few dives on the north shore with a couple of extra folks. Particularily we want to do a couple of dives on the Odessey wreck.

You interested?
Sloop

Hey Sloop (and Hawk) - I too will be in Roatan from Dec 1 to Dec 8, staying and diving from the West End. If the dive operator that I am diving with does not visit the Odessey, I would be interested in hooking up for that day of diving if each of you are interested. Feel free to PM so we can discuss further. THX!

I have been in May
I have been in October.

When I return I will chose May over October for multiple reasons.

This thread is great, thanks for all the information. This helped me finalize setting up a trip at the end of April on the North side at the Inn of Last Resort. Can't wait!!
