I know this is a really general question, but heading on a summer road trip from the prairies through Edmonton, Jasper then into the Okanagan Valley. Any must dive locations we should put on our to do list?

It all depends on how much time you have. On that route I can think of a few. Jasper has a couple of sites. Pavilion Lake west of Kamloops but I suppose that is going a bit out of your way. Another option if you have time is to do Jasper, Banff, Kootenay Lake, Arrow Lake and onwards.
