I have a big box of RIX 3K3B-44. parts manuals seals gaskets some hard parts any one interested in them? I hate to throw them out I know the value in the parts to someone who is nursing along one of these old machines. i have an excel spreadsheet with most part numbers and quantities if anyones interested.

Hey.
That's a very generous offer, but whats this about "nursing along these old machines? I have two 3K3BG gas units in the shop right now for servicing. Both are used for pumping helium, the youngest was built in 1975. I guess I will be retired by the time we see there insides again. New taper roller bearings on the crank, new oil pump and seals after that its just gas packing and rings. Both have ran with 80% glycol for the cooling and have never seen condensate gas. All bright and shiny metal inside. For anyone who doesnt know the 3K3B-44 air compressor looks like, jpeg enclosed. iain.
