Riviera Nayarit diving

Hi , we are thinking on going to the Riu Jalisco at Riviera Nayarit , we never been in this area so this is the main reason why i am starting this thread , i have a few questions regarding this destination :

is there a dive shop around this resort ?
water temp mid-January ?
visibility mid-January ?
how is the diving is this area ?

Check out the Puerto Vallarta dive report.

There is no diving in the specific area of the RiIU but some of the dive stores could pick in my neighborhood, at the Paradise Village docks in Nuevo Vallarta. South of the bay is nice as is also Marietas .

Diving isn't great in PV area because of visibility. However, IT IS DIVING and that's what counts. Water temp is around 22-24 C.
