Rg2010 vs 2015 and Rg3000 Adjustment Knob

I have a question about the adjustment knob on the RG 2010 , 2015 and Rg3000.
I can adjust the flow much more on the 2015 and 3000 than I can on the 2010.
On the 2015, and 3000 I can adjust the knob a full 5 turns, but on the 2010 I can only adjust it 3/4 of 1 rotation.
I took a 2010 and a 2015 apart today and found that the adjustment tube was machined a little different. The adjustment tube on the 2010 has a shorter depth for the adjustment assembly to fit in to. The adjustment assembaly does not sit as deep into the tube on the 2010. Is this how the 2010 was made ? If so, can I purchase another # RG1405 tube for a 2015 so that I can tune the second stage a luittle more.
