Restore old Suunto DM5 back up file (.bak)

Hi All,

I reinstalled DM5 on a new computer and when I try to restore my previous back up - a .bak file from 2022 - the app exits. I am using Win 11 and managed to fix the usb driver issue. I can download new dives in a new file but can't restore this old one.

Suunto isn't helpful, they do not have older versions of DM5 publicly available and softpedia, archive.org and other time machine sites do not seem to have it either.

Any tips?
