Just booked seven days at Co Co View and what a shock when my itinerary arrived.

Oct 30th 7pm arrive Roatan (we still have to get to CCV)
Nov 6th 6am leave Roatan (the airport)

Pay for seven but spend two traveling ?

Ah well as my wife says I will get over it.

I know how you feel about this! If it helps any, you're actually getting 6 full days of vacation, not just 5. You evidently paid for a "seven night vacation", right? I've learned that 7 nights does not guarantee 7 days... and actually takes up 8 days. Any way you look at it, you feel like you got shorted for at least one day!

Why don't you contact them and see if there's any way they can change your flight times, especially that unnatural 6 am one! Good luck, hope you get some results.

Your flight schedule isn't the resorts fault!
What airline are you using? TACA's non-stop Saturday flights from Houston to Roatan arrive around 4:30pm. Nora will meet you at the airport where she'll collect your passports and return tickets. Don't worry, they are perfectly safe! She does this so she can check you through customs and start collecting your bags as soon as they come through the conveyer belt to load on the CCV bus.

I don't want to rain more on your parade but you'll go through orientation Sunday morning then do a check out dive where you'll demonstrate basic skills. This isn't a bad thing! You'll learn how to navigate around the house reefs and walls and once the DM's know your skill levels, the freedom of being able to dive 24/7 will allow you to make up for that missed dive.

Our next trip will be on Continental because of the more dive friendly schedule. We'll arrive at 11am and depart at noon.

So instead of blaming the resort, why not investigate an alternate flight(s) with a better schedule?

Dee YES we are using TACA I was told there are no direct flights on Sat, Sunday yes, but as you can only get a bungalow Sat-Sat seems a little odd. As we live in Tampa our gateway is Miami seems there is a problem with connections so it had to be this way.

We will see how it go,s but given there are a lot of other destinations within the same flying time it leaves a lot of other options open for future travel.

What bugs me is if you get in at 10am and leave at 6pm you will still pay the same price as someone getting in at 7pm and leaving at 6am.
Just hope we get food on arrival and before departure.
