check out El Cid La Ceiba possibly. Used to be home to the airplane "reef" that was used for a movie, but now gone. Still interesting critters to be found underwater. They have rooms from hotel all the way to multi bedroom suites with kitchens. You will have to stare at monster cruise ships that port out in front and deal with lots of cruisers that do a "day pass" there during the day though......
