Just wanted to give a shout out to Glenn, his staff, and everybody who was involved in rescuing the diver this last weekend at Mermett. Great job to all. We absolutely hate to see something happen, but if it does it's great to see that the hours of preperation work. In this case the right people and the right equipment was their immediately. This saved this divers life. I hate to see what would have happened if this had occurred someplace else more remote. In fact, I know what would have happened - the diver would have died.

To all those involved, you are truely heroes and you saved this person's life.

I also think they do a great job at Mermet- They have a large staff and there's usually a spotter or two lurking about. I surfaced after a night dive and there were a few people chatting at the dock, keeping an eye out. They add a lot of proactive safety without adding restrictions to the divers. Kudos to to Glen!!

I was there too, and also happened to be there a few weeks ago when Glen and his staff were practicing rescue drills. That kind of hard work sure pays off.
