Yes, I just read some local Facebook thread, without out any helpful information, as well as some very ignorant comments. There may have been rescue drills happening today.

In a related story...
Years ago when I was staying at the hotel now known as Blue Angel, I saw two divers dragging a third out of the water at the entrance to the dive op. The diver being dragged was inert and limp as the other two got him out of the water and extricated him from his BC. I had just about enough time to start freaking out when the third diver jumped up and started laughing and slapping hands with his "rescuers". The drill was successful.
