Hey,

I am heading down to the BVI in 3 weeks. My brother has purchased a bareboat sailboat and we are going to sail around the Islands before he brings it home.

We will do what charters we can and snorkel like crazy but I cant find many coordinates for my garmin bluecharts.

Some areas are easy to find. Caves, Baths, Indians and some geological formations/rocks.

If someone could give me the GPS are directions to the following sites I'd be grateful!

Rainbow Canyon(Indians?) -
Ringdove Rock(NW Norman?) -
Sandy Ledge (W Norman) -
Angelfish Rock (SW Norman) -
Spy Glass Wall -
Brown Pants -
Black Forest(Peter) -
Shark Point -
Painted Walls -
Coral Rock -
Thumb Rock -
Alice's Back Door (Ginger) -
Chimney(Great Dog?) -

Anything will help. There is great dive shop info and site details on the net just not where most are located.

Thank You
Shaun

Many of these have moorings: painted walls, thumb rock, brown pants. Alice's back door is basically anywhere on the west side of Ginger Island, but no mooring. If you use a shop like UBS, they will give you the coordinates.

Your best bet is to drop into a local dive shop in the BVI and pick up either the Lonely Planet BVI guide or the Franko map of the BVI. They have maps with the sites as well as descriptions and depths. Or go out with a local dive operator to get some "local" knowledge!
