Congratulations on the Fundies:D
For me the real payoff was many months later when I realized how easy all the skills are now as compared to how difficult they seemed back when I was first introduced:D
Of course I'm not saying that I'm really great at them, I'm constantly learning and enjoying the benefits on every dive, not to
mention the great dive buddies that I now have.

Congrats! I thoroughly enjoyed my class as well. I think costs to take the course are probably roughly the same worldwide... what varies greatly is how much it costs each individual to buy new gear (if needed) travel (if needed) and cover various expenses (as needed). That's where you will see the greatest variation in cost, and why it makes it so hard to directly compare what one person paid in total compared to another.

The quality of the instruction, however, makes it some of the best money you've ever spent.

FLDV: Amen to that, dude! I'm gonna be practicing my backward kick (I'm one of those whose butt goes skywards!) in the pool this week and next when I'm assisting my friend during OW classes. But am gonna miss the video feedback though, which is a fantastic teaching tool.

compudude: Yeah, you're spot on that the quality of instruction is really the best money I've ever spent on diving instruction, despite having to live on bread and water for the next month. The best thing I liked about the course is how nothing is rushed, which I now know why it's spread out over 5 days.
