OK. A couple of things. Yes, I feel sorry for her. But. You don't shine your light at a barracuda's eyes. They come for the shiny. Hell, you don't shine your light at my eyes. I get a little pissy too.
Next. I have been all over Asia and Southwest Asia. They are usually very helpful and accomodating. But, at the time she was there, there were some intense things going on and the Bankok airport was closed, gangs were taking over hotels, it was crazy. I think she probably did miss a stamp, and in that part of the world, they are very fussy about those entry and exit stamps. Especially with the unrest going on. I think she was very lucky on all counts.
