Ran a search and did not see anything.

What can I use for a replacement?

Name, brand, and where? Can I get some at like Home Depot?

I did find that it has to be a certain kind otherwise it will ruin the O-ring?

Only weird thing I've seen is w/ Sea & Sea's blue colored o-rings. I almost tossed out the sheet that said those kind of o-rings are used in some of their products and they are impregnated w/ silicone oil. A special grease (in a yellow tube w/ blue cap) needs to be used. Claim is the blue o-rings will absorb the other types of grease and the surface will lose it's lubrication & become sticky. Oh and if you use the wrong kind of lube you need to toss the ring, it's toast. I almost tossed the caution sheet and just read it a few hours ago, so this thread caught my eye. Not a Canon concern but I guess I always thought silicone lube was silicon lube. Oh well. // ww
