Replace Atomic Swivel or Keep it

Hello all,

The Atomic Swivel hose on my 5 year old Z3 has decided to leak on me. Should I replace it with another $110 HOSE (really) or go with the Jam Nut and standard hose?

And for those of you commenting on my Strap thread early today, lets not turn this JAM NUT, into a 6 page thread. Ah heck, never mind, have at it.

Check with an Atomic dealer. I am pretty sure that swivel is supposed to be serviced periodically. Probably a 2 o-ring kit.

Just buy the jam nut and get an angled swivel. I like this one as it's welded and not screwed together.

I find the swivel hose useless on a long hose. Because it wraps around your neck, the standard hose puts the reg in a comfortable position for you mouth. On a short hose, however, I do find the swivel more comfortable since the hose comes in to your mouth at an angle.

If swivel, you can have it serviced.

If hose, just replace with normal hose and a swivel.

It is the swivel. I'll just do that then for now. Need to Service daughters gear anyways.
