So, somehow I managed to break the ceramic piece that holds the reflector to the rest of the bulb assembly on my Darkbusted Jr HID. It looks like I can replace the whole bulb for about 150.00, but I’m wondering if I can reattach the reflector with some thermal epoxy? Does anyone know if that would work or if those bulbs get too hot for thermal epoxy?

Go to an autoparts store and get High Temp silicone used for engine gaskets. Epoxies turn to liquid with very little heat, so even thermal epoxy might not work. My 24 Watt Darkbuster gets pretty hot near the bulb. The bulb ignites the mercury into plasma, and if its similar to my industrial UV lights I use at work, then the temp is nearly 900 Celsius on the bulb surface.

I've had to open my light up a few times to clean and change a fuse from a leak I had when I forgot to screw in the charging port cap, and it was impossible to unscrew by hand due to the dual O-rings (as I'm sure you noticed).

So I traced the outline of the lens head with its ribs onto a piece of plywood (OSB) and cut out the center and cut out a handle on the end, then put the light into my bench vice and used my new "wrench" to unscrew the lens.
Even after tightening the head back on hand-tight, I later still had to use the wrench to open it up again (I added a 1/8" thick aluminum ring between the bulb flange and the reflector to widen the beam spread - too much focus).

Hi dear sir thak you for your answering me
I need too know what kind of wrench did you use becuse There in no place on my light to fix the wrench my light is durkbuster 24w
Thx...
