Hi - We've been renting tanks since we moved to this area...(I know, I know, and we WILL buy the tanks, but we are waiting until Xmas for various reasons). We are kind of interested in using Nitrox the next time we do a charter, but the costs for rentals plus EAN32 are...um...stay calm, be pc, no expletives...a bit high - you pay the regular tank rental price plus $10 for the nitrox, so it winds up being around $25/tank. This was at Mass Divers...same at East Coast Divers...

Anyone know of a place with better prices? Or at least a card/bulk deal?

Thanks!

Here is what the shop I am affiliated with charges:

tank rental with mix is
$15 for a 32 mix & tank
$17 for a 36-40 mix & tank

Fills only
Enriched Air Fill (22% to 34%) $10.00
Enriched Air Fill (35% to 40%) $12.00

Where do you live? that would probably help.

Sorry - my tag ain't all that specific! I live in Metrowest - we usually do charters out of Cape Ann, thoughwe'll be doing dives in NH in 2 weeks, and we'd like to do some in RI this fall, as well.

Oh, ok...i see. Well, in Somerville my friend owns a dive shop..United Divers. i'm not exactly sure her charge..but, i don't think it's that high in price.
