We are going to curacao in sept. and would like to do independant unlimited shore diving, nitrox with a rental truck or car. We have been to Bonaire 4 times and are addicted to that freedom. Would you please reccomend who in curacao I should contact. I have not been successful searching on my own. Thank you.

We already have a place to stay, a timeshare. So we need rental car and tanks. Would they handle tanks and car. Thank you.

I just need to know 2 or 3 good places to rent a pick-up from.
Looks like Budget is one.
Who else?

Depends very much on where your timeshare is located, then. AW and OEW are in Westpoint, the far end of the island, roughly a 45 minutes drive from downtown Willemstad.

On the west side try Discover Diving in Playa Lagun. We rented about 10 tanks from them all week and they have a truck height loading dock. IDK if they had nitrox. Farther west Ocean Encounters West in Westpunt also rents tanks. Plan to carry them up about 20 stone stairs...

If you're staying around the Seaquarium - I'm fairly certain the DiveBus has tanks you can rent. Including some 100's IIRC.

I never found an unlimited package like you find on Bonaire either. Get a car at the airport, it's the easiest.

Thank you for all the help. We will be staying down south next to the Hilton resort, the curacao caribbean resort. We plan on diving the length of the west side like what we have done in Bonaire, at least that is our goal, 4 dives a day if time permits, honestly that is our reason for going.

In that case it might be worth contacting Ocean Encounters and ask if they can offer you an unlimited Nitrox package. They have a shop at Hilton, so it would be very close by to pick up tanks. Also ask if you can get tanks from there other shops on the island as you move around to explore different dive sites. You can email to info@oceanencounters.com.
