my wife and I will be diving with bali scuba for a week. we are contemplating whether to to bring our bc or not. does anyone have experience with bali scuba's rental equipment (especially bcd)?

From what i know, if you dive in bali with BaliScuba, then you are already spending your money on one of the best Dive Center in Bali.
So it's a good chance that you will also be ending up with a good rental gear. However, I dove with BaliScuba few times but never rent gears there.

thanks!

BRING YOUR OWN. No matter what sort of hassle it seems its always worth it. There are reputable shots in Bali but there are some real cowboys. I went with an outfit who had no spare O-rings when one blew in a tank - I had a bag. The air was bad and they crashed the boat into a big pier in Benoa to top things off. I've heard of a few people complaining about crappy gear during my time in Indonesia.
