Trying to clean the DIN wheel of my Halcyon H75 (ScubaPro MK25) and the metal mesh is in backwards. I've tried tapping it, using a brass hook, but it won't come out.
Any suggestions on how to get it out, without destroying it?

You shouldn't have to destroy the filter. An ez out will grab the rough surface and should give you enough leverage to pull it out without substantial damage. But, as Dave says, they are consumable and can be easily replaced if the worst comes to the worst.

Success!! Using the EZ out, it was able to grab the filter and remove it, with little to no damage. Thanks everyone!!

metal mesh

Dude these are sintered filters not metal mesh

I do have some mesh filters that look like a fine wire scourer spun into cones like yours
