I have a Shearwater 'Predator' is it recommended to remove the battery for storage? As far as I know I only loose date and time perameters..not log history?

Hi AA3JY,

Yes, you are correct. The only lost information will be time, date, and decompression tissue loading. All other settings and log data are saved permanently. This is true for the Petrel product as well.

It is highly recommended if you are going to store the computer for a year or more. Not if it´s going to be just a few months.
