We've dived both in Bonaire and Curacao in the past and are considering returning to Bonaire this fall. We stayed at Habitat when we were in Curacao but that was a number of years ago. I recently saw an ad for a 2-island Habitat trip with stays about their properties on both islands and free inter-island air transport. If anyone has done that itinerary please share your opinions about the experience, thanks in advance!

KathyV,

Talk to Jack Chalk at the Bonaire Habitat ... he will fill you in as to the specifics of the trip/discount. I am heading out for Bonaire again Saturday for a week and staying at Cpt. Don's again. Love the people there.

Thanks, will do!

Hi,

New to Scubaboard, but have been wondering if anyone has been to Habitat Curacao recently and could give a review. Also, wondering about the new dive shop construction. We have been to Habitat 4 times prior with our last visit in 2008 and we are returning in mid October for two weeks.

Thanks for any information.

Thanks, Muzicgirl and Korsu for your replies. I had read both of your previous posts. They were helpful. My husband and I were just wondering how the new dive shop construction/remodeling was progressing. We were hoping all construction would be done by the time we arrived in mid October; but if not, oh, well. We have experienced island time many times in the Caribbean and we are looking forward to putting our bodies on island time, as well. We can hardly wait 'til October.
