Hi

I was just wondering what the top choices in reg for you dir trimix/cave divers is? I like scuba pro.

I too like ScubaPro and have had very stable performance from them in cave and wreck mix diving from Brasil to Scotland... but they do most of their work in the Great Lakes.

FYI among the ScubaPros in my kit are Mk 25, Mk 16, Mk 10 and Mk II first stages and R190s, G250s, D400s, and S600 seconds.

That said... there are several other brands that have their "Evangelists" -- Apeks for example are well-engineered and have a good market share (as well as some ex-ScubaPro designers).

Obviously, you are looking for high performance regulators and frankly it's going to come down to nuances... buy what you can get serviced by someone who understands what high performance is.
