Reg Lifetime Warranty?

hmmm. Might have to get into contact with my LDS and Oceanic Australia to shed a bit more light on this.

I'm pretty sure that I can save a fair bit of money purchasing stuff from US online stores like joediveramerica.com. However if I have to pay for parts at servicing there is little long-term advantage in doing so.

Caught up with the LDS owner last night over a :beer:

Apparently the warranties are different depending on the country of purchase. As such any equipment bought cheaply from an online US dive store would not be covered under a "part for life" agreement in Oz.

He did say to get a printout of the price I had found and he would be in contact with Oceanic Australia to see if they could match (or at least get closer to) the price.
