Refresher Requirement at Sunset House?

Marek, I can see now why that would be a logistical nightmare! The AL 72s do sound like a bad deal...hell I look for tanks bigger that 80s whenever possible... I would be very bummed out to find out I had to use 72s on vacation.
 
You could try calling around to a few other local dive shops. The LDS I frequent (Indian Valley Scuba in Harleysville, PA) is probably a bit far, but they offer free refreshers in the pool. I was in on Friday and assisted with a family doing a refresher after being out of the water for two years. They definitely needed the refresher and the DM recommended they come back for a second pool session (again free). We also discovered a couple equipment issues (their own gear) including two octos that were letting out a steady stream of bubbles.

I don't know your family's dive experience, but being out of the water for two years can leave some of your skills rusty. Doing the refresher state-side would allow you to maximize your actual diving in warm clear waters.
