Sometimes it's not the camera...this was taken with a very old 4 megapixel Canon A80...and I think it turned out just fine (granted the shark set it up pretty well by coming within 5 feet). :)

Very nice but you forgot to tell him to say "cheese".

Thanks for posting.
I was working in the Turks in the early 90's, and never have made it back.
Is that a hook I see at the corner of his mouth?

Chug
Swam with Jojo.

Just for fun I tweaked it a little...

I saw a shark there in June '08 that had a hook in it's mouth with about 20' of leader trailing off of it.

Beautiful!!

Nice shot JP - shark close-ups are always a treat!!

And not to continue to take this thread in another direction, but since we're talking about fish with hooks in their mouths...

While on a night wreck dive in the Bahamas in 2008, I ran accross a respectable size Mutton Snapper with a hook in it's mouth. However, this snapper, not only had the hook in its mouth, but also had the monofilament with a 2 OZ lead sinker connected to the end of it.

I felt so bad for the fish, because it was so exhausted, it could barely swim! I immediately took my z-knife and cut it free...but being the underwater phographer I am, I did take a second to snap a shot, so I could show folks why, if you're going to fish, you should always use a swivel before the sinker, so this never happens! Here's the shot I took:
