Just to let you know if you don't know already, they are running a heck of a deal for the first three weeks of October. One person pays and one goes for free. I think it works out to be a little over $900 each and thats for all meals and 17 dives for the week.

FWIW, the deal only includes breakfast and dinner, not lunch. But it is still a heckuva deal.

Their website is wrong. I was sure the e-mail they sent out included all three meals but when I read your post I went to the website and sure enought it says only breakfast and dinner. So I called them and they said it does, in fact, include all meals and they will be changing the website.

They should give us both a free week for working together to correct their mistake! :D

Not to mention all the positive press I have given them here and elsewhere...

Too bad the cheaper Continental FF mile seats from Houston to GCM are sold out for those first weeks of October. Otherwise I would be very tempted by that deal...

Well they fixed the website!

If it were not for going to the Cocos in a few weeks and all the cash we have laid out for that one we'd jump on that deal. I rounded up a group of 22 this past may and we went and had a great time.

We are actually in the process of looking at trips right now and trying to decide if we can afford them. Right now, there are FF mile seats available during the fall dates for LCBR's promotion, but not during the BRBR October promotion. The difference between $1300 for airfare vs FFmiles +$133 makes LCBR look like a better deal, even without the afternoon dives. Now I just have to figure out if we have the money to go to either...

We were there last week. Our boat had between 12-16 divers everyday. But the boat is large and very well layed out (a 46' Newton Dive boat). So there was lots of space on the boat and we never felt cramped. In the water you can follow the dive master or go on your own. We usually lagged the group and did our own thing, but kept them in sight so we knew where we were. No pressure on dive times either. And the valet diving was great for us lazy types.

Did you happen to have a few divers from Southern California with you? My friends were there last week as well.

I blame my parents for not being rich and leaving me a fortune so I can go and dive when ever and where ever I want!

We had pretty much the same group on our boat all week. One group from Phoenix, Dallas, Georgia, Canada. Don't remember anyone from SoCal.
