worst movie ever made. Stupid, not factual, and adds only more disalusion to the shark and how "dangerous" it is. When will people figure out that unless you act like a jerk or do something stupid they will leave you alone!?

Its a really goofy movie with some unrealistic shark scenes.

It has diving in it though...that was reasonable.

Red water is a dum movie that is poorly written. The only thing that made me continue watching was waiting for scenes with Kirsty Swanson in a wetsuit.

Oh gosh...in this time & age in which many believe that the ocean's large pelagics i.e. sharks are already on the verge of wipeout, this film is so unnecessary!!! :upset:

PeterBenchley himself has regretted portraying the great white in such an ominous light many years ago. Why on earth are we heading down that stupid road again!?!?!?

Every facet of our existence threatens marine life & there's already so little we can do about this short of reverting to a prehistoric-type existence. MUST we add uncalled for, negative publicity about sharks to the destruction?!?!?!?

Sharks being at the apex of the foodchain their demise will surely have a VERY VERY significant impact on ocean ecology.

Whilst the scuba diving community knows, respects and maybe even loves sharks....folks who don't dive WILL likely get the wrong bits bout' these wonderful fish from this horrid portrayl.

I've dived in several regions where I hear the old timers there say 10-15 years ago you could see a 3-5m long shark or other large pelagic easy. Today you'll be lucky to see even a tuna......

It's sad and even worse knowing I'm part of the reason why our world is like that.

What about the part were the one bad guy knocked out the other bad guy with the door of the rusted out pontiac at the bottom of the lagoon and then since the second bad guys reg was knocked out of his mouth, the first bad guy pressed the purge button and made it stuck so all the guys air was expelled in a free flow. Then the girl swims over and it looks like a burst disk had blown with the amount of bubbles coming up from this free flowing reg.
