I have a Fisheye LEDFIX48 focuslight for my uw camera setup. In order not to scare shy critters away, I would like to be able to use red focus light.
Unfortunally fisheye don't make the redfilter for the LEDFIX48 anymore, so I thought about if I could make my own.
Just, I'm not sure if I can use any piece of transparant red plastic or plexiglass, or if it need to have a certain color ?

I just cut them from plastic sheet I have from light filters for photography. If not intense enough, you can always double up. If you're not happy with the results, then you can think about tossing more money into the pot.
