I doing a TSandM here. Can't you think of anything potentially disasterious or life threatening about it?

As the others said, this wing needs to be kept tight, *really* tight with a single. On the picture it looks like you may have removed the bungie altogether.... Now you know why it was there....

I don't like it mainly because it's sluggish. Takes forever to burp air then burps all of it.

I've noticed the same thing. It's a good wing for a twin-12 but for a single 15 like you're using it takes patience and practice to get the air out.

Argh! I bought my wing on ebay without a bungee. From my experience with the Zeagle, I have found that bungees trap air and you have get vertical and roll back while tilting to the get all the air out.

You're right; I should just replace it because I don't like it. This is my 4th BC and I'm feeling a little guilty. I am close to perfection at this point.

Well, the neat thing about the RecWing, IMO, is that the 'different' style of bungee system doesn't seem to trap air - however the horseshoe shape does. I don't think the RecWing is a good candidate for removing the top purge valve (which is DIR i take it?).

Why deal with the hassle if you have the money and there are small donut wings out there? For that matter, why am I dealing with it? Is there ever a concern to have a wing lift more than needed (hence the RecWing) in case of a buddy's wing failure?
