Recreational 30/30 mix and Nitrox Computer?

Yes I did a search and no I can't seem to find a better forum for this...

Can a sport diver dive a 30/30 recreational trimix/triox/heliox mixture to sport diving depths (greater than 90', less than 132') with a nitrox computer set to 30% nitrox, or with 30% nitrox tables?

I'm not asking if its DIR, or if you should even dive with a computer, or if there is any benefit for helium mixes at recreational depths, or anything about CO2 retention or the amount of backgas you need at those depths and you should really be diving manifold doubles that deep, or if helium increases your risk of AGE, or if helium is a precious resource that should be reserved only for the giant balloons in the Macy's parades, or if FillExpress charges too much for 30/30 fills. There *are* old threads that hash and rehash those issues better than I ever could. :eyebrow:

What I'm after is to figure out whether you can dive a 30/30 mix with a nitrox computer or nitrox tables as a sort of safety factor, in the same way you can dive a nitrox mix on air tables or an air computer for an additional safety factor. Is there an additional factor for calculating He and decompression that I'm not aware of?
 
No - the model in a nitrox computer calculates the tissue saturation characteristics for nitrogen, not helium. Your helium uptake rate is a lot faster than your nitrogen uptake rate, so your nitrox computer would be considerably off in calculating your NDL.
