Hello everyone,
There does not seem to be so much info on Mauritius diving here but I will give it a go - plan on being in Grand Baie (northwest), Mauritius towards the end of February 2024. I am a rescue-certified diver with several hundred dives all over the world and would love a recommended dive shop that I might be able to do a day or two of diving with, preferably to see some sharks and bigger animals. I prefer to avoid industrial-type shops and one that might be happy to have more experienced divers together when possible.
If the shop also has great open-water instructors, that would be a bonus as my boyfriend might consider taking his OW cert (has done a 2-dive discovery in Thailand last year and not only loved it but was a natural!). Thanks!
