Recommended Dive Magazines ?

Returning to diving after stopping for twenty years. Certified OW NASDS and Advanced ACUC in the nineties. Only did about thirty dives at the time and just started again a few weeks ago.

What would be the Top Five or Top Ten Dive Magazines that you would recommend ? Naturally I suspect that the magazine by DAN should be somewhere in that list. Also, I have fond memories about the Canadian magazine Diver. And I am happy to see that Dive Training is still around. Are there any others that you would like to recommend that are geared most of the time towards the recreational diver ( I suspect that there are many excellent journals specialized in Caves, Wrecks and Tech, but that is not what I am looking for, at least for the moment) ?

I'd have to say most magazines have gone the way of the dodo.

PADI publishes Sport Diver.

I prefer to get my info online.

Alert Diver and Dive Training are right at the top of the list for me....

I liked the British magazine I've read while on liveaboard in Maldives but I do not remember the name. Dive Training can be entertaining at times but Scuba and Sport Diver are borderline boring.

I like Dive Training, more in it than just travel and it's free at the dive shop.

I pick up Dive Training at the 3 usual shops I patronize. I have found that it can be very helpful for a very new diver, though a lot of what is discussed has already been presented in the OW Course. It can also be helpful to instructors, especially regarding various approaches to teaching/solving specific problems. The "No Dumb Questions" write in part is OK too, though again, pretty basic stuff. It's probably not the greatest magazine for the experienced diver not into teaching. I've got probably 100+ back issues and they're yours if you pay the shipping from Canada......Oops, you're from Montreal.

Alert Diver improved a lot a few years ago when Stephen Frink took over as editor.

DIVER has a lot (all?) of their content online now unless you want a print copy.

Harris Links lists about all of them.

Hello, thank you very much! However, I believe that this won't be necessary. I have been doing a lot of reading of recently published dive books in the past few weeks to bring myself up to speed and to catch up with the changes that may have occurred in the past twenty years. The offer is very kind however. Much appreciated.
