I'm a Fish!
So I purchased a pair of 5mm neoprene gloves on Amazon. They are ok, they are hard to get on and off and once thy are on it is really hard to make adjustments to my setup, if I need to adjust my mask and my hood it is almost impossible. I really feel like as soon as my gloves go on I have lost any ability to anything, even mildly technical. I cant make BCD adjustments, clip my chest strap etc. and feel I then ask my dive buddies a lot of can you do this for me questions. So I am thinking I may need to look for a better glove than a no name brand. 5mm seems to keep my hands warm enough in cold fresh water just would like something a bit more flexible, a bit more easy on and off, great grip etc. Any thoughts?

Look at the Fourth Element wet gloves. I always wore the 3mm when diving wet even in 40 something degree water. Kept my hands warm and I had decent dexterity.

that is the nature of the beast. Gloves are the last thing you put on. Also filling them entirely with water helps to put them on if the water is not freezing. wetting the inside with baby shampoo can help as well.

yes I get it may just need to be a change to my prep process. But if I could get a little dexterity I would love it. I will take @Marie13 advice and maybe try a little thiner glove. I was looking at the Fourth Element gloves yesterday. They are very grippy which is nice

I have been a very big fan of the Fourth Element neoprene. Their 3mm gloves and 5mm gloves are fantastic. I don't have too many dives on them yet, but so far I have had zero issues and they are holding up very well.

I like using the leather palms DeepSee gloves for their dexterity, although they may be too thin for some.
