Myself and another female instructor are travelling for 2 weeks in Malaysia and want to dive Tioman, Redang and Perhentian. We are not picky about our accommodation, (Budget is better = all the more money to spend on diving.) but we want to dive with good, reputable operators. Any recent experiences? Cheers!

In Tioman I would recommend ABC who are located in Salang or ABC good outfit and comfy boat. On the Perentian check out the dive shops on the quiet side of the island Coral bay I believe and ask then to look at the tide tables to get better results when diving the sea mounts, great snorkeling on the other side as well on the left side of the beach swim along the rocks out about 200m and you will see black tips. Thats all I remember

Just got back from Perhentian, dove both Perhentian and Redang with Turtle Bay Divers. Professional and safe dive outfit. Lots of female divers and divemasters.

Enjoy Perhentian, it's got some great dive sites!

I visitited Perhentian 2010 and 2011 and dived with Universal Divers. This is a very well organized operator driven by friendly and relaxed individuals that enjoy diving. They also do daytrips to Redang ocassionally. Just returned from Malaysia yesterday and can highly recommend Universal Divers.
Let's get wet.... bkules

I went with B&J on Tioman. They're fine by Asian standards
