Anybody been to both places? Comments on which
they like better and why. Cruises are out b/c of a previous
bad experience (not me!).
Diving either is great, it really depends on what you want. Curacao is more about the reefs and little critters, although you'll probably see some turtles and the occasional ray or nurse shark if you're lucky, and there's lots of shore diving. T&C has the walls and there's more chance of seeing big animals, longish boat rides to the best diving. Curacao is much more built up in places, though much of it is still remote with hidden coves and beaches all over. T&C is less built up and alot of the development is pretty upscale. Grand Turk and the other Caicos islands are really quiet. Curacao is much more European feeling, T&C (at least Provo) more Americanized feeling. Both have great restaurants.
