Recommendations for Kona-area vacation rental/hotel

I'm trying to coordinate a trip to Hawaii for the first week of April '06. I saw on a different thread that someone recommended alohahouse.com. Unfortunately, it is already booked for that week.

Does anyone have any other recommendations? I am open to any place be it a vacation rental, b&b or hotel. I am trying to get some friends together to come along.

There will be divers and non-divers going.

If you are going to stay in town I would recommend the Royal Kona Resort. Not much of a "resort" but it has the basics. Cheap, ocean front, walking to all the restaurants, in town, etc. If your primary goal of this trip is to go diving I suggest staying in town so you don't spend (waste) any time driving.

We've stayed at the Keauhou both time's we've been to Kona. It used to be an Ohana but was "upgraded" to an Outrigger. It's really nice and right next to a great place to snorkel with the turtles, Kahaluu Beach Park. It's not in town but a short drive.
