I know it’s late for this trip but my daughter and I loved diving Key Largo. We are relatively new to diving so it was great in the beginning.
You can do a great and very simple 3-5 day trip doing 4-6 dives per day if you include night diving. We stay at Marina Del Mar or Holiday inn at the same pier where Rainbow Reef is located. It’s a pretty big operation, I think 4 boats that can hold 20 divers but I’ve never been on one more than half full so usually plenty of room. You can choose whichever boat is scheduled to visit the destinations you want to dive but it’s not concierge service.
Basically we like it because the boat is 10 steps from the hotel and there are three decent restaurants within 100 feet. It’s great for a long weekend trip.
