hi and thank you in advance for any suggestions / advice.
We are heading to Japan in October for a general sightseeing family holiday. Myself and my son would like to do at least one dive, but it will have to be somewhere close to Tokyo / Osaka or Kanazawa (i.e. near to the main tourist routes on Honshu). We realise this might not be the "best" diving, but we are not hugely experienced divers (OW qualified) and it is more for the experience of seeing the waters in Japan.
I am struggling to get responses from places / find somewhere able to offer us just one day of diving - particularly as we have a fairly tight schedule.
Apparently Kanazawa's dive industry has not recovered from the last earthquake-related damage to infrastructure, I have not had responses from places near Tokyo I contacted and the one person in Osaka I have been able to make contact with does not seem to speak much English (we are corresponding in japanese script with the assistance of Chat GPT!).
Does anyone have any suggestions for dive companies it might be worth contacting please? Thank you so much
