Can anyone recommend a good 1.5mm wetsuit for tropical summer diving in high 80's water temps?

Its for my 16 y.o. daughter who wears a woman's small.

I realize that a dive skin is an option but we're looking for some minimal thermal protection.

I have a Henderson Thermaxx 1.5 that I like but it no longer seems to be available per Henderson's website.

Any recommendations for high quality options would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks @BoltSnap.

I think I would lean more towards a 2mm than a 1mm if a 1.5mm wasn't available but that is a good option.

I had one of these but be aware it is open cell…

I had one of these too and they are awesome. I didn't realize they were still in production.

Any 1-2mm wetsuit is going to be fine. This thickness is usually quite flexible and it is not that a bad fit will limit her movement or leak icy cold water to the spine.

They cost less than thick suits and also can wear off faster anyway.

Look at Akona, I’ve had good luck with them, sold as 1mm
Ooh, nice choice. Are you implying they are a little thicker than their stated 1.0mm? If so, I think this one might be the winner unless I can find the Pinnacle Shadow in her size.

I’ve found many brands count the nylon lining as .5mm, they used to go on sale from time to time so I actually have 3 of them and usually take 2 on a trip so if the water turns out to be 75° or less I just wear two.
