Looking to plan a trip on the last week of September. What are the conditions like then? And what are some resorts and dive shops you would recommand for 6-7 days. Thanks.

hmmm... 6-7 days is a lot of diving... for that amount of time you can really maximize the visayas... bohol and cabilao are rated #1 by the guys herekalekainxx:
september is iffy weather-wise... it's the typhoon season
i'd suggest you go for locations off the usual typhoon belt - i had a great dive in General Santos... Paul, the owner of south point divers, is PPD... great guy, laid back place, amazing wall dive (the one i did) w/ a lot of life
if you need a night life PG should cover you for a week's diving and then some
