Has anyone heard of this phenomenon "rebalses" It is somthing to do with the sea and the moons phase.
I recently ran across it while looking up dive sites. I was wondering how much I need to consider it for planning a dive trip.

Never heard of them, to be sure, but found this...

Dang, but I learn a lot on SB, whether reading or helping to serach out answers. Probably not a big concern, but interesting...

Impress your friends by talking about Rebalses follwing springtime full moons! :1book:

Plan on avoiding them for the most part. Basically they are period of surge activity that tends to stir things up and obscure visibility. En otras palabras, amigo, no son buenos.

Thats the same page I found it in to DD I have never come across that one before. I wonder if it is a locla thing in that area, or if it is more prevelant up and down the coast.
