Reason For My Absence

As many of you know from my previous announcement thread , I've had a good excuse for not being quite as "present" around here over the past year.

Alexander James arrived on June 18th, weighing in at 9# 1.5oz and 22" long. At 3.5 months, he is now 16.5 pounds and 26" - Quite the little bruiser! He is an incredible joy, and despite the rather extensive labor (long story - PM me for details) I wouldn't change a thing! I was prepared to be blown away by the experience, but the delight and wonder we experience everyday is incredible. There is nothing like a baby's bellylaugh, or the whisper of their eyelashes against your skin, or their little angel lips still holding the nursing position long after they've fallen asleep in your arms...

PS - You can probably figure out which of us is Birth-Mom by a close examination of Pic #2. There's a "slight" resemblence...

Good to have you back! There is nothing more precious then a baby, and its time that should be more important then anything in this world (Yes, even diving!). I'm very excited for both of you... and hope that things continue to go well!
